Hey. Sounds suckish, I'm not gonna lie. But if you're feeling like maybe, just maybe, it'd be okay to die...look into your baby's eyes for a couple seconds. Watch the baby sleep for a minute or two. Then feel free to write me at paradelap@aol.com. My father works for AT&T so we have free long distance to anywhere in the world. I'm also 18 (as of the 13th of this month) and things are sucking for me pretty bad too and I'm having the same horrid thoughts you probably are too. My name is Callie and if you feel like it, write me up. I'll try to help you and, if you feel up to it, maybe you can help me somehow too.

i'm sure your babies father cares how you feel, dont doubt that. who puts you down? whenever they do this, think to yourself-why should i listen to them? that person will have faults but they will also have strong aspects about themselves-just like you. you're already blessed enough to have a child so if you cant thinkof anything else-consider this! i hate to read all of the stories on this website with people who feel through with their lives, i want all of you to understand that however you disagree with this statement...there is hope! things always turn out OK, so hold on tight and appreciate what you have in life as it is, and work with yourself and everybody else to make life better. Talk to your parents, they'll be interested in what you have to say. They will help you, even if it is for somebody just to listen to. I hope you're feeling more up to things shortly and I'll be thinking of you and your baby.

Dear Been Through So Much:

Remember that your child needs you. If you check out, your parents and his father may not raise your baby in ways that you would like.

There are a lot of resources on this website, where you can call a helpline anonymously, and get advice and assistance. Give it a try.

Someday, when your child is a happy adult, you'll be glad you did.

Best wishes,
Struggling To Survive (who's been there)
