The more you care, and the more you try to be a nice person. The less the world cares about you. A honest person in our world gets nothing but pain and misery. While the liars and selfish get nothing but pleasure. Why is the world we live in like this? Why even try to be a good person when you know that nobody will appricate it in the end. Why the harder you try to make the world a better place for others, does it become worse?

I don’t have an answer to this question, either. All I can say is to take pleasure in knowing you tried to do right by others. Biblically, those who do good are short-changed. This does not reassure me, but I’m trying to keep going, to trudge forward. I have nothing to lose by trying, so why not try?
It’s really sad how true that is.
Those who are polite or show a bit of kindness will not make it very far. Those who are rude and cruel will get what they want in the end. Those who give are left bankrupt. Those who don’t are left rich.
