I’m Emofobic(=scared of blood). Yes,when I see blood I feel bad and I fell like that I’m gonna throw up or faint. Yeah,it’s quite hilarious but..I’m a strange person. lol
Yes,I write a lot about me because I want to let it all out.
I thought you were going to say this was the fear of emo kids. Isn’t fear of blood called Hemophobia? Anyway, lots of people are afraid of the sight of blood, it’s not strange at all.
It’s interesting, to me, that in a world which promotes simulated violence, and wages endless wars, while pretending that “violence is bad,” while also demonizing sexuality into some sort of horrible taboo…
“Fear of blood” has been medicalized into a psychological “condition,” as if somehow, fearing blood is “irrational.”
But the fear of blood is entirely rational, even intuitively so; it means that the life-fluid of another being, is escaping through a wound, which will likely lead to death, if the flow goes unmitigated, and the wound not repaired.
Blood reminds us just how easy it can be to die. Which is ultimately quite contrary to all the endorsing of simulated violence, which attempts to make us forget we are mortal, and desensitize us to the reality of violence.
i wasn’t the only one who inmediatly believed it was a emo kids phobia? lol. And yes… it is not an abnormal condition, i even know medicine students that can barely see blood and freak out (why they went to medical school then? who knows…)

I agree with you, clevername. I couldn’t have said it any better myself.
