There isn’t any harm in posting something positive every now and then.
Especially after posting a countless amount of rambling.
It’s just to show that people are coping better today and feeling worse on other days.
If he wants to show off his happy travels, let him be. It’s not like he has bombarded the site about his happy travels. If you’ve read his previous posts, you’ll learn that he’s in this, just like us. If you’re going to criticise about his post, at least learn a bit of the back story of why he is here. There’s a reason why you can click on the username of the person who posted. To view their previous posts. No one (actually, I could be wrong, there may be a few. I know he isn’t one of them, from what I’ve seen) just randomly ends up here and posts something happy for the sake of posting. It’s not your casual social network here, there’s a real sensitive purpose hence the name.
This could be a post of hope, coping skills and so on – you name it. There’s categories for that on here, so he’s not breaking any rules by doing so.
Also, having money and getting to go on airplane trips does not necessarily mean he can’t be suicidal. Who are you to judge someone’s quality of life by a post? This is only a part of it.
