No one can answer that. There are people who are happy and live a prosper life. I am not one of them. So it might be a way of the universe trying to sustain some sort of stability as if we can’t all be happy or all be sad. Of course we might be a part of an experiment and our lives is just an illusion like we are living in the matrix.
I sometimes have this idea, but reasonably its utter nonsense 🙂 We are species designed to live and maybe be happy, but external or internal problems can make us hurt more than be happy. So I think it’s just matter of statistics. When you have 1% to become psychotic, someone has to do the “dirty job”… I’m not happy about it.
Of course it’s nonsense. I believe it’s all matter of chances, personal experiences, personal decisions and the list goes on. As an example one moment you are happy as you can be and the next you are diagnosed with something bad and all happiness goes away. I sure hope we are living in the matrix and these good gentleman just delete my account.
I had a best friend and he had this funny relationship that every time one was doing good, other was some kind of suffering. Sadly the equilibrium shifted his way for a long time now 🙂
You breathe, because your body and brain does so, they won’t stop unless you become old or ill. You hurt because being hurt is in human nature (part of what a brain does). Why you only hurt, that is complex question and we would have to know your story. But brain adapts to situations, if you learned that being hurt is normal, you will feel that way long term…
