I have been a cutter for years and from experience when someone says don’t cut yourself and jokes about it , it doesn’t help. If a man has a problem with my scars and that I have cut then he isn’t the one for me. Cutting is from pain deep within. Scars show I survived what should have killed me. Those who have cut are beautiful. It is still hard for me. Cutting can be like a drug. When I can I am getting my sisters name tattooed on me she is such a huge inspiration. But even though she is I still struggle with my self worth. I know the pain. But one day I decided I didn’t want to hurt myself. It would be nice to have a boyfriend. But I don’t want to depend on having a boyfriend to make me happy. I have to live with myself and love me first. When I struggle I take a pen and I write the name of someone who loves me or a saying it helps. I haven’t for a long time but I’m a writer. Sometimes I just really need someone to talk to. I hope you find one thing about yourself that you love. I hope things get better. Your not alone. There is someone out there. The hardest thing is being patient. I’m not patient either but I have hope. Take care.

Cutting is rather hard to deal with…. I would recommend trying to push it out of your life as soon as possible…. The sooner you start the easier it will be, and trust me it isn’t a sustainable thing and you’ll want to/ have to quit eventually 🙁 I’m very sorry that you have to deal with this though.
