I’ve felt this way for a while now. I’m an atheist. I considered myself christian for a while but decided it wasnt for me. I’ve never really had anything against people who believe in god but I never understood why they did really. Now though, now I just cant take it anymore. I’m so sick and tired of hearing about people giving god credit for their acheivements and blaming the devil for their misfortunes. That shit is absolute tripe. Where do all the good things come from? luck. Where do all the bad things come from? luck. Luck is the reason for everything. People like to think if they work hard then all their hard work will be rewarded with riches, pride, glory and a nice happy ending. Well that’s utter bullshit. A man can put his all in to everything he does and still end up dying early, alone and miserable. A deadbeat loser can also win the lottery and live happily ever after. If you push two men out of a second story window, one being a law abiding citizen and the other a child molester, the law abiding citizen has just as must chance of getting hurt or dying as the child molester. There is no god and even on the off chance there was he clearly doesn’t give two shits what you do. You can claim that there’s all these afterlife rewards but there’s no guarantee. All the people who claim to hear god are a bunch of crazies that also think the devil lives inside their penis. I mean JESUS CHRIST PEOPLE! WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SHOW YOU HOW STUPID THIS IS!? GOD!? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? You christians tell me that some omniscient, omnipotent being made us all the way we are. He made us in his image? Well humans fucking suck. So god must too. I don’t care who responds to this, just know I won’t say anything back. This was simply a rant. If it bothered you…maybe you have some more critical thinking to do.

Finally, someone who agrees with me. I used to be a christian for a while back then, and it took a lot for me to finally see the truth of the matter.
For christians, when something good happens.. thank god. And when something bad happens, god works in mysterious ways? No matter what happens, they always find a way to defend their beliefs.. Doesnt matter how stupid or far-fetched it sounds.

Religion is just about beliving, alot of people need to belive that theres something after this life, they need to hope.
However im not that kind of person, i gues im an atheist aswell, im “catholic” when my grandmother askes but oh well, i dont really care about anything, those who belives in god when trying to take suicide or such mainly just hope to get rid of their past and hope that they will be reborn in some afterlife and get showered with happyness and so on.
Religion = fake hope.

I’m sort of an Agnostic Theist, but I have never felt “god” (whether there is one or not) is responsible for anything I or anyone else has ever done and to me religion is something that should be private and people should mind there own business when it comes to judging ones faith or lack there of. So don’t feel down on everyone that isn’t atheist, some of us are a little more intelligent than the other mindless lemmings who feel the only answer is to turn to god in any of your troubles…
every one needs something to belive in some people choose faith i choose to put my belife in people like my girl friend and some of my closer friends but i agree with you and if you have ever studied religeon like i have you find it hard to beleve in any god religeon has caused nothing but problems over the years if you look back religeon has started wars, destroyed advanced civlizations like the roman empire if the romans hadnt fallen think of how advanced we could have been today instead of having to rebuild from the anglo saxon period but i digress im an atheist reaserch some of the religeons they did some fucked up things
I too agree with you; and while I identify more as an agnostic than an atheist, I do think the belief in a personal god somewhere up in the sky is just plain ridiculous and superstitious. For me science has given far more credible answers to explain the mysteries of life, the world, the universe and everything than religion ever could. Although even science has its failings; but what do you expect, it’s a human creation too… lol, sorry for rambling on!!! >.<
I myself is an atheist too and I can’t even reveal that for I would be killed, maybe I should I mean it could be a good way to end mylife, but I know if I did they would keep me alive and turn mylife into a fucking hell… bullshit that I don’t need, they would try to kick devils out of me can you believe that bullshit?… anyway I know how it feels…

Yes, I agree with you fully and completely. god sucks. It d better dont exist because if it existed, i would hate him for everything he has allowed in the world to happen. I have seen a child of 2 years, a little baby girl beautiful blonde with blue eyes die of cancer in the arms of her mother. Why the fuck did god bring the girl to the world only to have her dying of awful cancer agony at the age of 2? was that a punishment to her sins?
you know what catholic people tell me? that was probably a lesson to the mother. That is the rationalisation of sadism, so typical of religious people.
Well, I believe in God just to be sure that there’s a guilty for this bullshit world we live….. lol…. Seriously….. there are some strange things about god that makes me believing, though. Look at the catholic church. Today they condemn gays. But it’s exactly what in every country in the world they are accepting slowly just on basis of human rights, equality and free will, but no god…… I just saw in Brazil, a girl was expeled from the catholic church, because her doctors made an abortion on her due to the life danger of carriyng a baby with just 11 years and no more than 40kg, after she’s been raped. hmmmmm…. I’m sure at least that god could not be catholic then…. But when we look to the history, the repetition of “anti-development” dogmas or laws continues. The curious is that, on the long term, religious beliefs are always wrong. After they saying about Adam and Eva, scientists found the monkeys, heheheh….. I would rather prefer to believe in Adam, but the history of monkeys or whatever thing depending just on “evolution” has been showned more realistic.
Trying to keep the power, 500 years ago catholic church told even that the world is flat instead of round. Now we speak about infinite universe and the tipp from the catholic church is that yes, the universe is infinite… so, I could assume previously that it’s finite, just like Einstein believed.
Although I’ve written just about catholics, jews or muslims are not really different…. it’s all about GOD. I don’t believe that cutting a skin of their penis in order to keep the difference from the rest of the population seems to be an example of equal rights believing. It’s just an act to maintain or create differences that don’t exit. It just feeds the huge problem of discrimination issues, in my opinion…… all about differences…. Other things like “saint war” makes also no sense. It’s a complete contradiction to kill in god’s name if god is all about living… People could tell that it’s not fair to think about a minority, but I’m just thinking that it’s about who’s making the difference. In meaddle east they fight in god’s name for centuries…………………………..
Anyway, when I start to collect these historical elements connected to religion I think that the work of the church in the last 2000 years was just an attempt to somehow stop development. In the same time, the work of non-believers these years have been somehow to prove that the religion is wrong. It’s been a kind of fight against religion….
It’s just interesting that finally, we don’t fight against god, but we just fight against other stupid humans who rule the world with lots of bullshit. But they say that god is with them. And as far as I know I never spoke, saw or felt god in my life and any other person which I could say that I would truly believe also didn’t. I can just conclude then that these religious people who feed with their stupidity all religions around the world or they don’t have god, or they stole from us!!! heheheh….. just joke…. He could not be stolen if he is the powerfull, infinite and blablabla guy, right?
