im trying to do the calculations for how long it will take my car to fill the garage to a lethal level of co but im not sure how much the catalytic converter removes from the reaction. i know the burning of 1 mole of gas creates 1/4 mole of co. which through the ideal gas law comes out to say it will take about 400 moles to raise the level to something around 12,000ppm. anyone want to give me the last part of this so i can finally get out of this thing that some call life. thanks.

I can tell you that any car in the U.S. made after about 1975 or in the UK after about ’85-’90 will not contain a lethal amout of CO in the exhaust due to the cat. converter. I’d imagine even in a big-engined car you could burn an entire tank of gas and have a tough time developing lethal gas levels.
These things can be removed, but A) your car will not pass smog inspection (doubtful that will matter with your plan) and B) unless you take your car to a shade-tree speed shop any mechanic will look at you like a crazed fool when you ask to take a catalytic converter off.
that’s not important. pray for a bit of faith, right now, and attempt to figure out what God wants you to do for Him. He doesn’t want you to die.

I’m catholic. i pray everyday i go to a catholic school. i was voted most spiritual in my class last year. it doesnt help me it never did. everyone thinks im going to be a priest. i just dont want to live. well i know enough about my car that i can remove the cat myself. i was just trying to avoid it so i it can easily be sold once im dead.
Monwell, it doesn’t matter if everyone thinks you will be the next pope, religion does not matter. it is your relationship with Jesus that makes the real differences, He is the only one who can help you. have you read the bible and understood the words He spoke, “give up your life for My sake and for the sake of the gospel or you shall lose it” ?
have you given up your life for Him? you suffer now because you have not. you and many others in the world are trying to live without the one thing you need: a relationship with Jesus. all you need is Him. please talk to me.

i’ve tried to let him. i give my life to him everytime i step out of bed i pray that he calls me home and has mercy on me and everyone around me after i do this because i want to inherit the heavenly reward. i konw this is imoral as it gets but i really cant handle this. i give everything i have into him everyday. im well versed in scripture. i know the stories i know right where it says that what im doing is wrong. i know it, but till here i am wanting to be taken back to him. to leave all this behind so i dont have to live with this. people will be affected i can tell. i know. my two best friends killed themselves 3 years ago and i have been trying ever since. i want to get out of here. if you really want to try and convince me otherwise my email is Robert.Monwell@gmail.com
Can’t you understand, K3T, that telling everyone “Love Jesus more, you don’t try enough!” is not the solution? Some already love him, some will never. That’s how the world is made. People who write here need help, need to be listened, and need probably more than that. But they don’t need to be said “You’re not acting the good way!”. If they chose to go to Jesus, they will do later, when they’ll be able to listen to you, when they have been listened first.
