Why are there different religions? Is there only one real “good” religion? Are some real, others not? What if they’re all real, and whichever one you believe in, you reach its respective afterlife?
Why do we live in an imperfect world? Why was I born in 1984, and not 2147? Why was I born with only one good eye? Why weren’t we born perfect in a perfect world? Why do people believe different parts & values, etc. of different beliefs/religions?
If there is a supernatural being/God out there, why do they allow harm to people? For mistakes to occur? I do not get why a “God” would create a being that would disobey its orders.
I mean, I DO believe there is some sort of supernatural force that created us, this planet, the chair we’re on, etc. etc. (because the material had to have come from somewhere).
I think…. I think I just don’t get WHY they would create, and allow, people to experience pain and sadness and anger. Why not just create a perfect world? Plain and simple, why didn’t/don’t they?
Growing up, I’ve been to Jehovah’s Witness, United Methodist, Catholic, and non-denomination Christian (most recent & longest) churches. I used to ONLY and LOVE listening to Christian music (dc talk, MWS, etc), used to be an excellent prayer… but long have I left all of that…
If they are so loving and powerful, they should understand why I attempted to drown myself recently. I failed, and perhaps fortunate to not have serious brain damage… I mean, if you’re going to kill yourself, better to be successful than to live and deal with serious pain from serious injuries, brain damage, etc.
I thought drowning would’ve been easy, maybe I should just hang myself…

I was born with an extra toe….got it removed though
You see no one is perfect not even close nor anywhere near.
No matter what situations may come upon you in your lifetime there is always a chance to progress toward happiness. I see all problems in my life as a challenge and i want to face them head on even if i lose, trying your best is what really counts. I’ve had my fair share of misfortunes and if i had the choice i wouldn’t have avoided them or altered them in anyway.
I could careless who or what created us or how we got here, all i know if this is where i am now.
I think you spend a little too much time asking the wrong questions, just accept what you are given and strive for what you want.
The truth is that nature goes about its course simply because it could, without a care of who’s happy or who’s in pain, whether things are right and just or not. As living beings however, we are cursed with having feelings. We feel pain, and so human reasoning has come up with the idea of “perfection”–the absence of pain. So long as we live, we will keep on feeling pain. And so, there will never be anything “perfect”.
What you can do about life’s “imperfection” is up to you. Whatever that choice is, only you can decide, and nobody can do anything to talk you out of it unless you let them.
