I made a list today

reasons to live:

1. i want you to – yes, this means something
2. God wants you to – this means even more! He loves you
3. you haven’t figured out why you’re alive yet – i can help you
4. there are for sure food and drinks that you enjoy eating, and you cannot enjoy them if you die – so try going 36 hours without food, and then consider which you want more – death or food? and if you want food more..consider how weak those reasons for dying really are, since food is worth living for, for at least a moment.
5. there is for sure some other things that you enjoy in life, even if only for a moment, even if only in theory – that you would miss out on in death.
6. things still may get better – do not deny the possibility, please
7. the world needs help – you need to help us, i can tell you how
8. death is of no value – so how could it be worth it?
9. surely you’ve made someone smile before, and surely you can do it again
10. your hands are for doing things for others, not for killing yourself – if they weren’t for doing things for others, then you’d just be a tree, unable to do anything for anyone but yourself.
11. you haven’t figured out the meaning of life yet.
12. you probably haven’t figured out the Bible yet.
13. there’s always a way to feel better, but with death – you don’t feel
14. no one understands you yet – at least write us a book!
15. there Are people out there who need you – just go look for them, they’re on the street, they’re in the alley, they’re the ones holding the signs
16. surely you’ve been wrong before in life so any of those reasons on your should-kill-myself list may be wrong – what is your list?
17. you haven’t yet figured out what would happen if pinocchio came into the room and said “my nose is about to grow” – live at least til you do, please
18. it is wrong to kill yourself.
19. there are probably episodes of winnie the pooh that you haven’t seen yet
20. you are real, and you are alive – how should you, being alive, choose to die?
21. you need to overcome your drinking problem.
22. you can’t go to heaven if you kill yourself.
23. surely you know one more person who wants you to live
24. when you smell something nice, it’s nice – but if you die, then you will rot, and rotting isn’t a nice smell so you’ll have to face that (unknowingly) and you will miss out on nice smells
25. there is an abortion somewhere on earth at Least everytime your heart beats – so 50 million abortions Every Year, so since you weren’t aborted by others – you shouldn’t abort yourself either. so many lost babies should live – don’t be lost like them please
26. there are even more than 25 reasons to live! :}
27. there are people who also are suicidal and need to be helped – but if you kill yourself, not only do you fail to help them, but also – you encourage suicide. you shouldn’t discourage them.
28. the world needs people to be good…please be good.
29. everyday your body works hard to keep you from dying – don’t kill it!
30. 6 months isn’t enough time to realize that the next 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60, however many years of your life are not enough to make things better
31. 30 reasons? there could never be enough reasons to die
32. i know a few dumb jokes that you would miss out on forever if you died.
