Days started to finally have meaning. With a job and two friends to talk to everyday, everything is ok. For now. My parents are fighting all the time but thankfully the car is getting me out, but the thing that pisses me off the most is the shit I find out about my own family. My mom hates me because my dad is treating me better then my brother. My dad hates and does not want anything to do with him and lastly my brother is behind a shooting at my house that got me shot. I feel so loved. WRONG!!!I fight everyday to just stay kinda invisible. Who do I trust and allow near me? What should I do?
Email me if you can give me a idea to keep me sane. npazdra@gmail.com

My advice is to get out while you still can. Or you won’t be able to keep your sanity. I’ve basically lost mine. It definitely, is not fun. Good luck Miss.

Did you ever consider moving in with one of your friends, at least until you can afford an apartment of your own? It sounds like your home life is very chaotic, and you would be safer some place else. How long ago were you shot? I’m sorry that you had to find out that your brother was behind that, that’s just tragic.
Just because a family is your family – does not mean they are right for you- growing into an adult is when we find these hard lessons out.-its horrible to hear you were shot because of your brother – your mom should. Not be mad at your dad for loving you at all- whether she feels its “more” love than for your brother.
Parents fight all the time and too often its the kids who get the consequences from that- they are the ones who feel bad. And feel like its their fault! You have done nothing wrong- sounds like your family should deal with your brother with some tough love- he shouldn’t be around he is a danger. Good luck- and remember your friends are there for more than just talking too-
I was shot may 27th and it still hurts. The friends I do have live very far from me. I wish I could stay with one of them. My brother is not around my family anymore. I will try to keep my head up.
