Life was never meant to be consisted of struggle and suffering. It is an experience of ‘life’ as a human being. If a human being was completely free as he was meant to be, he would never consider suicide, nothing would be so bad in his experience to warrant thinking that way.Â
‘Man’ has created his own existence, which is very far removed from what was intended. Due to this ‘man-made’ existence that we are all living, the majority of the population suffer in some form. Some would rather die than live it. This is not a travesty. What is a travesty is that our real intended experience has been taken from us and replaced with a mechanical one. It is natural for many to consider or follow through with suicide, people do not come to this decision due to stupidity or selfishness. It is a completely natural reaction to a very unnatural existence.Â
This is not to say that I think everyone should commit suicide, far from it. However, if an individual has been suicidal for a long time, and has tried hard to make this existence work for them, and keeps failing to do so, then suicide is a very viable option for them. It is nothing more than them just stopping doing something that they don’t enjoy doing.Â
This one human life existence is miniscule in comparison to what is out there. Your thinking was never meant to be imprisoned in a insignificant routine. The existence of human life now, in this man-made existence has no value, no significance and no true meaning. If you are not comfortable with it, it is natural. If you are comfortable with it, that is good, but it is not happiness that you are experiencing, it is merely that you have found some comfort in some aspect of what is available to you. If you had a free life, you wouldn’t need comforting.Â
Some individuals accept this man-made experience and have long forgotten what freedom and happiness is. But some cannot accept it.

Too true – I cannot accept it! I’m so tired of struggling, its all ive ever done. I just got fired from another crap job and im here YET AGAIN trying to survive, desperately trying to find another crap job. I watched a film a couple of years ago, i cant remember what its called but its about a little boy in a concentration camp in germany and through the fence of the camp he makes friends with a free german boy. How very different their lives were, the free boy wanted to play with the jewish boy but the jewish boy only had a few minutes each time before the bell rang for him to return indoors. I think that life is like that concentration camp, we are all looking through the fence of the boundaries of our own lives (at out ‘dreams’ and ‘hopes’) but then the fucking bell (reality) keeps calling us back to the grindstone. I hate that I am once again striving to keep myself above the water line, im so tired and i dont even want to do it anymore, even if i succeed again, i dont actually think its worth it anyway!
capello, you’re the first person here who appears to be in the exact same situation as I am; going thru multiple job losses/just fired from another/not worth it to find another job only to repeat the same shit over again….I would love to talk to you.
My email is EnchantressForever@gmail.com (only if you want to of course)
(my other comment is awaiting moderation)
I just wanted to say that relate to capello’s comment wholeheartedly as well as the OP.
Ironic, isn’t it?
It is indeed in every human’s soul, as apparent from art, song lyrics, movies, deepest thoughts, etc, that what’s really important for us (humans) is FREEDOM and HAPPINESS.
Yet, it’s as if we’re born “to become machines”, worse, “to become SLAVES to the System”.
And then, most people or society would call this ‘Responsibilities’ , or ‘being Responsible’,..whatever.
Which makes you then think: Are we all born just for the end purpose of “being Responsible” ?….Responsible for WHOM or what??
It is only a matter of Time until one cannot endure anymore of the pains & sufferings caused by the CONFLICTS between this ‘bleak’ Reality .versus. one’s always-been utmost Dreams, Hope, and Soul !
Hence, why suicide might seem to be the ‘only’ BEST alternative.
It does make me conclude that the ONLY kind/type of people that would still want to stay and LIVE in this fucked-up System is:
1. People who truly LOVE money (and capitalism), and for their life perhaps keep being stubborn to NOT see what’s damn wrong with it.
2. People who are also tired and do intuitively feel what’s damn *wrong* with this kind of superficial life, yet, they are RELIGIOUS people, who seem to have notions that “committing suicide is a SIN, and it’s WRONG”.
But then again, if I may ask them, why ‘God’ put us here on earth (& especially some of us here who seem to suffer so much in their DAILY & entire life!), just to ‘test’ us on problems after problems, yet FORBID us to take the ‘most Peaceful’ exit/alternative (ie: suicide) to the ultimate Goodness/Peace, that is, Death ??
is ‘God’ then,..ENJOY watching our pains? is this ‘God’ sadistic one?? ..for what Purpose though??
It even makes me damn afraid (I’m an ex-Christian btw) to finally conclude that ‘suicide as a SIN’ is only a concept invented by humans, so we can keep being a ‘SLAVE’ for everybody else, for THEIR own comforts & convenience!
Am I deluded in thinking like this,..or am I actually closer to the Truth, passed all the man-made illussions?..
Btw capello, I’ve watched that film, it’s titled “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas”.
I love your unique perspective and thoughts on that movie. It’s true.
and I can also relate so much with what you, and what the OP said.
You are a genius!
I agree with this 100%.
