~I screamed, he was right there. My vision was foggy, it went black. I was still conscious, shit, death was near and I couldn’t see. I crawled and hit my knee on a sharp rock. I yelped and felt warm liquid leak from the wound. There was a crunch of a stick right behind me, I turned instinctively but still couldn’t see. I felt a cold piece of steel on my neck. Next I was grabbed by the waist and carried a far distance, then thrown into what felt like a car trunk. I couldn’t help it, I cried. I was shaking in fear and I felt the vehicle start moving. My vision came back, but it didn’t matter, I was in darkness anyways. I saw the inside release of the Camry’s trunk and pulled. I opened the lid a crack. We were moving fast. I had to do this quickly. I opened the trunk wide enough so I could escape. I jumped from it and hit the ground; I felt my skin of my back and left leg split open. I rolled and leaped to my feet in my pain and ran off the road into the forest. I didn’t know how much time I had before the man realized I was gone. I had to get as far away and to safety as agile as I could. With each step my leg and lower back rippled with paroxysm. More tears had found their way from my eyes and rolled down my face. The wind and cold froze them in their tracks and it burned. I hear a loud crash behind me and had to turn and look, I did. I saw the silver Camry coming at a fast pace down the gravel road of the woods. I had to take a different track. I ran in between two close tress and tried to run faster. My route before had been easier to travel, no roots or rocks to trip on. Here I had many options of falling. As if to prove that, a large oak root was in my path, my foot caught on it and I went down. My head collided with a rock and it felt like I was exploding. My head ached greatly and my vision was black. I was hurtling though a distance universe never to awaken again.
