Hello everyone.
I have decided to use the helium method to end my life and save myself from this pain. I have read Final Exit and have already purchased the supplies to make the exit bag. Tomorrow morning I will be going to a local party store to purchase two helium tanks to complete the process. My only problem is that I am unsure of what type of tubing I need.
Is it something that I can purchase from a local pharmacy, such as nebulizor tubing? Or can I locate it at a hardware store? If someone could please tell me the type of tubing I am looking for I am certain I can find it through the stores in my town, or online. I do not want to buy the “helium hood kit” because of the sixty dollar fee. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly. Once all the items are purchased I plan on leaving Tuesday morning.

Alright mate, now we both know that you aren’t going to get advice on how to commit suicide. So I say before you do anything stupid, talk to someone. Like me for example.

From your wording, i don’t think you truly want to die. Tell us your story, you must want to say more then ask how. At the very least humor us, it cant hurt to tell us
Yes, BlueHero45, I am ready to die. I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer, almost eight months ago. It is a painful condition that weakens the bones and causes the body to lose white cells. I have had three infections which have required stays in the hospital and antibiotics. I can no longer stand the pain.
When researching methods I looked for a way to ease my suffering without causing more pain, and I have come to learn that the helium method is one of the most pain free methods in existence. I have no children and I divorced almost sixteen years ago now, which means I am alone. I do have friends but my illness has taken its toll on them as well because they feel they need to care for me as I have no one else.
I simply need to know what tube to purchase and where I can get it. Then my suffering will be over and I will be with my brother and parents who have already died. I hope someone here can tell me what type of tube I need to purchase.
I am going to use two tanks to be sure there is enough helium (party balloon tanks) so I am thinking something with a “t” end that allows the tube to split to two separate tanks.
Multiple Myeloma still has a 35% survival rate, your pain will still end one way or another no matter what you do. i cant guess to know what kind of pain your in, but your death will hurt your friends who care for you. Would you still wish to die if your brother and parents where still alive to support you as well?

BlueHero45, I am on a website asking for help because I have reached my decision. My brother and parents are no longer alive, so theorizing decisions if other circumstances were evident is a waste of the time that I have remaining. Why do you feel the need to challenge a person’s decision about their own life?
35% survival is a possibility for some, but my doctor and I have discussed every avenue and I am not in that 35% category. My doctor actually mentioned a lower statistic, probably because she knows my situation and can more accurately give me advice. I am not saying that taking one’s own life should be done without serious thought. The pain I experience every day will not change by choosing to live until my imminent death. I prefer to accept my situation and take matters into my own hands.

You should get the flow control kit as well,otherwise the bag will shoot off.

No I am not trying to save people, I am considering suicide because I don’ t want to grow old and I am bored with life, i feel like I have experienced everything and old age seems too depressing to me to want to continue. I am 35 but I don’t want to live past 45. I am single and have not found the love of my life. I have no energy to go to work, I hate people and I want to live in a better realm with god, angels and soulmates. And what about you, why do you want to kill yourself?

Have you read about near death experiences? Google it and you will find tons of stories of people that died and came back to tell a story..and basically there may well be life after death. Thats why I want to die, I want to be happy and it is not possible here on earth. Do you have health issues?

I think you only think about suicide when you lost all hope in having a future.

I found this on another forum: 3/8″ ID x 1/2″ OD. Can anyone confirm that this will work on the tanks without a regulator?

go4itmo, am on this website to relay my own experience with suicide. I said what i said because someone still has to ask. It is very much your own life and choice but it be reckless to just say go for it, too every person who posts here
