Anxiety….. Is a kind of fear… Fear is easy to defeat, but first of all and most importantly ask yourself if you really want to loose social anxiousness? Lets start off with context. Fear is an act of a human for self-defence … If you are socially anxious literally you are preparing yourself in self defence by making yourself more aware on that… Instead of other things.. Such as maybe you see a bird flying you won’t fear it because you focus on the people around you. Do you want to loose anxiousness? You must understand what it is you fear of society… You know yourself better, I am only a guideline, to fear is always internal and can never be defeated by someone else. It is you who must defeat it! Now about the subject itself…. Anxiousness? Depending most importantly on why you fear society… But generally most people fear society as they don’t know what they fear about them therefore by not knowing what you fear you are scared of not knowing what you fear. I hope you understood that. As you know why you fear them, understand if it is something that can really hurt or harm you….. Then you must experiment…. A great example would be hang out with one person… Then hang out with more and more.. Reminding yourself why you are scared and see if what you fear actually can harm you emotionally or physically at all. The only way through fear is to confront it and it can be set to this by degrees, starting small and building up; there must be fees that you have overcome in life, the fear of the dark, of heights etc. If you avoid that which you fear, that which you fear will simply grow ever greater. Thus phobia’s develop. Social Anxiety is nasty.
Cracked, thank you for agreeing, and I want to ask you a question… Since you know that fear’s can grow while ignored… Does that always happen? Can a fear grow so far that a person will eventually force themselves to confront them? I have a problem with my loved one and she is scared of me… I wish she would confront me yet I know only she can teach herself that…. I wish she would talk to me again… I don’t know though if her fear for me will build up causing her to confront me?
