I met someone on this site. I don’t know their username, I don’t know their real name, only their email. And today, they emailed me: “This is the last email you will be getting from me.”
I only know their email. I’ve been talking to them because we’re both on not-totally-sane levels… And I can’t really reach them if they killed themselves…already..
I think the title of your post lends a solution to your dilemma. You don’t really have enough information to do anything at this point; as you said, you have “no clue.” I’ve corresponded with people from this site who one day precipitously disappeared, i.e., I never heard from them again. Any sense of loss or responsibility in such a case is the price one must pay when they get involved in the lives of strangers.

I presume the site’s policy is to protect people’s anonymity.
If you know where they live you could call the police?
Sounds like a rather unpleasant experience…
Or maybe reply back, try to get the person talking, ask them all sorts of stuff?
The message could still be a subconscious cry for help?
