Can I ask if your leaving a note or not? And your reasons why? I’ve been agonising over this for weeks but what ever I write down comes across as if I’m blaming them. I know if I don’t leave a note i’ll be leaving a lot of unanswered questions but I just feel if I do leave a note it will open a whole new set of questions.

I’ve written my suicide note,
& I wrote one just for last words, thank you’s & reassurance really.
I don’t think mine till open any questions, if you think yours will open a lot of new questions then why don’t you answer them in the note.. not as a Q&A obviously, but just explain what and why.
May be my note just doesnt make much sense to me then. I’m just finding it really hard to put things into words.
I know what you mean, last year when I wrote a different suicide note it took me SO long to write it.. It ended up being pages and pages long & all in the wrong order. Now mines just really short and simple.
Don’t over think it, just clear your mind & write what comes naturally instead of trying too hard.
I have thesame trouble. I feel like I’m blaming my family when I’m tryin not to. It’s seems easy but it’s really hard. Good luck to your note.
I thought about what a note would read, button those like my immediate family, I don’t believe it would matter. My kids are young and I would want them to know the good things, but when it comes down to it, i’m sure it wouldn’t matter. It doesn’t matter to my family that I am where I am for whatever reason…why would I matter after I am gone.
Thanks everyone. I’ll try to write one again but i can imagine its going to come out like englishboys, pages long. I’ll have to include an index with it lol
@wwjodydo – i think its because after a suicide people look for a reason and for some one or something to blame. I want to make sure no one blames themselves. IDK they might not even read it.
Whatever you do, just let people know you were suffering and this was your choice and that you love your family or friends or whoever you’re leaving the note for. Letting people know you loved them is fairly important and what they meant to you.
Thank you softsoul
@social outcast – random question but how old are you? and where in the country are you? obviously don’t have to name the town but north, east, south, west?
26, East Midlands. You?
Oh okay cool. 20, Southeast.
Do you live near the coast? I’ve always wanted to live near the sea.
Nope, I wish. I live in-land about a hour away from the sea i think lol.
Oh, ok
No i am not writing anything when i die….. writing a letter will give them more pain
I have several for various different people if I go, I am having doubts now and people have encouraged me to fight a bit longer
Good luck Paul, i’m glad you have such nice people around to support you.
@hotcool – thats what i’m worried about
