It takes more than one person, or medication. I have been suicidal, and I have gotten help. I am so grateful to those who helped me, and I can never repay them. At least let me try to help you, please. Life is worth living. There are no redo’s. This is your one and only, so don’t cut it short. Email me if you ever need someone to talk to. I won’t judge or preach to you. I promise I’ll listen, whether you talk about the weather or the things that have caused your depression. hetariuss@yahoo.com Just know that someone is here for you
I asked the same question on here a little while ago.
For me (and possibly for quite a few others, if you think about it), I think the answer is a little bit of freedom. If you’re able to do what you want and be with whom you want somtimes – or at least have the ability to avoid doing things and being around people you dislike all of the time – there’s clearly something to live for. If I could get that, I’d want to live.
Here’s hoping that a) I manage to stick around for another next quarter-century and b) that this one sucks a lot less than the first. I hardly dare to hope, but part of me still does.
For me it would take a time machine so I could go back and change what happened in January. Since that’s not possible, my next option would be a lobotomy so I could forget the last 10 years of my life and how wonderful they were.
