Does ‘here’ mean alive… or specifically where you are geographically or even situation-wise?
If you are seriously suicidal, asking for and getting help for yourself to get through what’s going on could mean the difference between life and death. The inability to cope with pain of some kind is at the heart of the vast majority of suicides I believe.
As someone who came as close to death by suicide as is possible, and still live to tell about that experience, I urge anyone seriously considering suicide to seriously question their suicidal impulses.
At worst you can call the suicide hotline anonymously. I never did that.

Burden?
“Life has absolutely no joy for me at the moment.”
Which also means to say that joy could come to you in the next moment.
