Hello I’ve nearly set up the helium exit bag technique! I have a 30 balloon small helium tank, but I don’t have the flow controller! I’m still trying to combat this buy buying a 60 balloon tank and connecting the two together! I was wondering will the method still work without the flow controller or will the helium tanks finish before the body becomes brain dead?? Second question once I release all air from my lungs and hold my breath while putting the bag over my head, will I have enough time to wrap tape around my neck to prevent air getting in the bag, through the gaps in the neck as the pipe goes through. Third question is what is the effect of smokers on this technique, I am a heavy smoker and will this benefit or restrict my ability to end my life! I really don’t want tO fail my attempt and I just need to go from this world So I can finally have some peace. Please help me!

Bad joke. Have you read Final exit.? got all the info. Go to the Dashboard. & Helium hood method. Go to 2:52 pm on April 1st, 2012. Read it And click the bottom blue line. Got all the info you will need.

Hi Kaiser, the thread about the Helium Method that Donnie mentions is very extensive and complete. I read it all but I can’t tell you about the regulator cause there were two positions posted about it. One of the members of SP, Jabbwabba that died through this method said in his last writings that people making it all much more complicated than it really was and he used no regulator. He did die. His sister wrote about it later on this site.
There is also a video on youtube that explains the way to do it right. I gathered it’s two tanks joined by a T tube to the one that goes inside the bag.
The answer to your question about what happens to the air once you pull the bag down… Don’t worry, It so happens that helum and ******** are lighter than oxygen so it will all be concentrated at the bottom of the bag. Thanks to gravity, the gas you’ll be breathing will go on top.
I’ve read that ******** is a much better choice since it’s texture is much more similar to the air we breathe than helium; therefore it won’t have such a shocking effect once you stat breathing it. On top of this, it has been reported that helium cause the muscles to twitch involuntarily while unconscious. Apparently a really tricky scene.

Hello thank you so much but I was wondering if you can help me more. I have done research on the method and I am comfortable with it. I was hoping that once I take out all the air from my lungs and then pulling the bag over my head, will I Be able to hold my breath in the bag momentarily long enough for me to put duck tape around my neck so that the bag doesn’t fall off?? Another factor is has anyone considered the fact that te reason the method didn’t work was because the helium rank emptied. I’ve done research on how long a regular 30 balloon tank will last without a regulator and they say around 5 mins. I’m assuming that this is not long enough for someone to die, cause apparently it takes around 5-10 mins before the person becomes fully dead. Maybe that’s the reason people have had failed attempts and not cause they took it off while asleep?? Another point is what are the effects of smokers? Is it beneficial or not while carrying out this method?? And yes I am using a t tube but still waiting for it to arrive, anyone know any easier places where I can buy it from? Cause I want to go as soon as possible. Thank you so much for the help. I want to finally have peace.

Nothing will happen that will change my plans. I know your trying to keep me alive and I appreciate it, but you don’t even know me and I’m in a very dark place. I’ve lost all hope in life and nothing can happen that will change that. Thanks for trying 🙁
My first test with balloon time helium i passed out in about 2 minutes with the flow control kit from exit international and a exit bag.. my body started to tingle all over just before i passed out. I needed to know how fast it worked so this was just a test.
