The problem of opposites is the problem of absolutes.
This is the source of our suffering.

Thought most theology ignore the matter when humanity became conscious, when they “ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil”. It was just that the awakening to the awareness that one thing could be deemed as better or worse then another. But the knowledge of good and evil is not the same as the knowledge of what is good and what is evil. Instead we have tension, what is good in one moment is bad in the next, what is the good then, what is the bad?
It is in the tension that we become conscious, and conscious of the problem of opposites compassion.
