Log in to Reply cephalus 5/6/2015 - 12:56 am Hi friend. For some reason the phrase ‘naturally happy’ strikes dissonance with me. Some people are naturally happy, many who create the best art are not. My question is, is it better to be happy and content? Log in to Reply worthless_loser 73 5/6/2015 - 8:40 am In my experience, no one is “naturally” happy. People are either happy or unhappy based on their current and longterm circumstances. If someone is beaten up by life day after day, year after year, they will tend to be unhappy. But, if life gives them a break and offers them someone to love that truly loves them back, things can change. Happiness can enter their lives. Then, of course, life will take that someone away, and unhappiness will return in greater force. No wonder we want to punish life. What a *****.
