Anyone wanna describe how they felt when taking opiates (or synthetic opiates) for the first time? Just ordered some Tramadol and I’ve never taken any kind of drugs before, so I was just curious. Also heard that drinking after taking them increases the feeling of intoxication. Is that true?

I’ve been on tramadol a couple of times, and i keep some for when my neck/shoulder/throat pain gets too bad. It knocks down most people (it didn’t do that to me, just got me sort of sleepy), so take it at night, the first time it’s preferable that you take it early, so you don’t over sleep. It does take the pain away better than most stuff i use to take (ciclobenzaprine), and yup, alcohol increases the effect, but you shouldn’t have to take more than two pills, and that’s safe. Heck, don’t take more than one.

Tramadol is an interesting opiate in that it also inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine. So it is a combo drug of sorts.
yeah, I agree with Mf, keep away from the alcohol on this one. It will inhibit your breathing. Which interestingly enough brings on death.
