Yay again!
I briefly tried learning guitar once (It was required for the music therapy degree), but I never really enjoyed it and I’ve forgotten EVERYTHING.
My favorite instruments to play are french horn and harp.
I like piano, of course, but these days my brain has trouble thinking in treble and bass clefs both at the same time. 😉
I will patiently wait for the next time you’re in a piano mood. 🙂
You might end up being the greatest Bach pianist on SP.
Especially since I haven’t played Bach in years and can’t remember what I did with my Well-Tempered Clavier books.

I’m in piano mood, i just was tired today and didn’t want to struggle too much with anything.. With piano, its really frustrating to learn anything.
I’ve been playing guitar longer, im more comfortable with it. Nothing i play on guitar though ever really sounds good though, not compared to piano at least. But i try.
If im learning bach on piano, its going to take more than a day.. Maybe ill try a weekend or something.
whats harp like? I’ve been curious about them lately.. are they key tuned or chromatic? I just feel like, you’d never know where you’re at, or which string is which note with no clear indication..

If you hear people joke about that, that’s where it got started.
Regarding harp:
The notes are tuned like a C-Major scale.
My harp is an Irish Folk harp, about five feet tall.
Each string has levers at the top that can raise the pitch one half-step.
So if you were playing in the key of D, for example, you would raise the lever on all the F’s and C’s.
You can tell which string is which, because all the C’s are red strings, and all the F’s are blue strings.
Concert harps are different because instead of sharping levers, they use foot pedals. Pedals can make the notes sharp, natural, or flat.
So if you were using a concert harp, playing in the key of E-flat major, you would “flat” the pedals for B, E, and A.
