am i being used?

We have never met in person or spoken on the phone. Only messaging, we have been talking almost for half a year. When we had first started chatting he said that he was just around the same age as me (he said his age number but I don’t want to mention it on here) and so I felt pretty comfortable. But yesterday he had told me that his birthday is a month after mine. So I thought I was older than him for a second, so I ask him what year he was born and then he tells me that he is 2 years older than me (again not mentioning the number). As soon as I noticed he was 2 years older than me I had a small panic attack. I had ended up getting in trouble with the police because of people that were older than me. I thought I was safe at first, but now I don’t know what to do anymore. Should I break up with him? Can he be using me? I kinda believe that he’s using me 🙁 even though I like him
