I am emotionally drained. All the skills have used to distract myself has lost its spark. I just can’t find anything that will cope with it except self-harm.

Boredom, sadness, pain.

I’ve never done it before, but I feel as though I don’t have a choice.

I feel I understand where your at. I have never self-harmed either in the sense of cutting myself. However, I would say not caring about things I should care about I guess is the way I harm myself sometimes. Just feeling apathetic and like there is no place to go or no one to turn to.
I know things may seem bad for you right now but give your life a chance to catch up and meet you someplace better. You probably need a day of just self-care whatever that looks like it you. Maybe its taking an extra long shower or having a treat. or Whatever you need to do to keep yourself away from self-harming actions and toward self-loving actions Not too long ago I just bought my family a puzzle to put together. Not only did it help with not feeling isolated I enjoyed being able to work at it a couple days at a time.

I am sorry that you have been self harming. If you are bored with life > then try to get into something new in your life that you might like. If you are Sad > then try to think about what is making you sad and try to find ways to deal with that. Try to find things to do that make you happy. If you have pain > then try to find some remedy for it. Maybe see a doctor or find some other way to deal with the pain.
Try to find some other way to deal with your issues other then self harm > because that does not ever do you any good and will only bring more problems into your life
I wish you the best

Selfharm can be slippery slope to start on for some, and a good thing for even fewer.
it can come to the point where you become sorta addicted to it.
then it can eventually come to the point where even that turns it’s back on you, and gives no release, and all you have is a scarred thigh that can’t even feel anything anymore

If you can manage, I would suggest you try to stop finding distractions, and accept what might be your troubles, and find more permanent ways to deal with them.
Selfharm is only a temporary fix, and even if it can feel so good, and seem to work wonder right here and now, it won’t last.

Because in the end, distractions are just that, distractions, and no distraction last forever..

I’m so sorry. Have you been talking to people and spending time with supportive friends? I have experienced firsthand what isolation and loneliness can do to exacerbate emotions. The shame and guilt and sadness in the soul. It is hard to love yourself without having someone else love you first. Here’s a dose of hearts for you ????????<3 <3 <3 you deserve to be loved, and most importantly by yourself. I believe that this community cares about you.
