Anime has helped me a lot even though it is a cartoon. One it makes me feel different from others I like listening to the themes of characters and I noticed a lot of users watch anime. It’s fun it makes time go by and the impossible always happens 90 percent of the main characters are like us or worse
I have great memories of anime it helps me cope which is why I ended up collecting figures as you see I have a large scale of figures these are just one shelf I’d like to share and the figure that I am holding is Ken Kaneki from Tokyo GhoulÂ

Aren’t you afraid of knocking any of them over and then having to re-organize it again? Like what if a sttong gust of wind came in, or if you’re clumsy like me and knock one over, but that one is next to another one, and knocks that over, which then knocks another over which knocks another one over…. o_O
I have one shelf (like literally one measly row) and I kept knocking them over as I went near to grab stuff lol. But the ones I had were mini’s so they would fall down easily, by wind or by me knocking them over.
@ Darkness Thanks 🙂 I’ve been collecting for 5 years but I went all out in buying figures last year I went too all out but I expected to be in debt from other things involving my family so I just made the best of it. If it weren’t for these figures and watching anime than I wouldn’t know what to do. Nice so you have some figures to sweet my little brother loves them he’s not an anime fan but loves the scriptures. I have 4 more big very big 1/4 diorama coming here from what I bought last year I’ll share them when they come. For the record it I ever do kill myself I would like my family to sell it and use that money for when my brother goes to College because values on most of the figures that I bought have already doubled
And Darkness good question and like all the time I am afraid of hitting something like just now when I got up reading your comment I’m reminding myself to be careful when turning on the lights it’s 5am here. Besides that I don’t have a problem I never broke any of them only my mom did and twice she shoved some figures under my bed and broke them because we had guest coming over and wanted to make the house including my room look plain.

I used to like anime, back once when, we would sit and gobble up the lovely macabre forbidden non-pokemon animes that our friend snatched up
then as i got older, and started to lose my smaller pleasures, animes started to annoy the shit out of me, like the voices would just be down right painful in my ears, like when watching japanese porn, couldnt get excited or enjoy it unless muted. sorta loses a large part of flavour when you take the sound off a show, at least for me, despite how good it looks.
So snorlax you can still enjoy it by watching it Dubbed. I know what you mean by the voice hahaha
suppose i just lost excitement too much to bother looking around for decent dubbed versions, since they weren’t exactly readily available here back then
when i did try looking online i would always manage to pick and find the undubbed ones, so stopped making any effort, at least we did get naruto, dbz pokemon and yugioh here with dubbed voices, so that was something lol, but the networks probably a bit too squeamish to get the really “good stuff” on air, hell even something as “naughty” as south park had to be delayed til midnight lol, imagine how real anime would have made peoples heads explode
*gives up trying to make friends and goes back to sad life* bye

That’s awesome, you have lots of figures (pretty good ones too). I have a small collection but since i’m limited on space they’re sitting in plastic containers inside their boxes, waiting for the moment when i have a place to display them (or when i’m dead so my family sells them, lol). And yup, anime has gotten me through plenty of crap over the years. If it wasn’t for one piece 3 years ago, i’m pretty sure there’s a 95% chance that i’d be dead by now.
Thanks a lot I appreciate that and it was death Note that helped me most and dragon ball z and I have only 5 figures out of all of them that are boxed and I saved all the boxes for all of my figures and put them in the basement so incase my family wants to sell it if I die myself

I used to watch anime to escape from reality (this was in the period where my mom was addicted to alcohol).
I just enjoy watching it now though, I don’t really use it to cope or escape anymore.
I also read manga or light novels sometimes nowadays.
That amount of figures though!

Yeah the most I ever paid was over a thousand and that was the Itachi Susano my favorite naruto character. The 2nd most was Vegeta HQS it comes out in November I will upload a prototype here

Thanks Zeon and yes I did spend a fortune but 90% of these figures were purchased in 2016. I’m uploading a diorama that I paid $800 for it its a 1/4 scale HQS Main Vegeta from a company called Tsume.
@Darkness yeah I spent a fortune I even got into debt big time for all this and I have my reasons for that. You probably read most of my comments about my past so as people have there girlfriends to go on dates with, money to buy what they want with no stress. I went and got this to have something where no regular person would comprehend I love being different this is the result of my family’s betrayal and this is one of my top copeing environments.
