I don’t know why, but I really want to make a list of ways that I cope with feeling like shit. I like to take my dogs for a walk, go on a walk by myself, listen to music, draw, and build things. The building things part might sound kind of weird, but it actually works. I’ve just been drawing out random stuff on graphing paper whenever I’m feeling down, and it actually makes me feel better. I’m interested to hear about what you guys do to cope.

let’s face it doing things you enjoy does help you cope! but remember you can fall into a rut as well, i always think about doing something everyday, like cooking something i enjoy but also i think about other things that interest me so i can change up a bit.
i might put on a Indiana Jones marathon this weekend and watch them all! or get caught up in music, i think about what will keep my interest for a few days then change it.
that way i have something to think about and look forward too.
doing the same thing everyday makes you feel like shit after awhile.
I listen to music, come on this site and read, some times go visit my sister and nieces… just being around people and out of my crappy apartment makes me feel so much better and is a great distraction… gets me out of my head for a bit… and just feels good to not be alone…. and I actually enjoy being alone… but every once in awhile it will drive me crazy with cabin fever if I don’t get out a bit after hibernating for awhile. Change of scenery does wonders for me too.
