Anyone else sick of the phrase “permanent solution to a temporary problem”? “the mess and trauma for those left behind-” please. My heart bleeds. Cunts. Nevermind quality of life, as long as we keep the stats down and more people “alive” (at their disposal) that’s all that matters right? But eugenics, war and death row that’s all fine and fucking dandy, isn’t it just?
Good luck with those stats and all.

While I support the right of people to defend themselves, I’ve asked many times what’s the difference between brutally killing a person using one excuse, and brutally killing a person using a different excuse? Either way, aren’t you doing the same thing?
“It’s a permanent solution to a temporary problem” is another way of saying “I’m busy, so I’m just going to say this so I don’t actually have to talk to you.” So next time somebody uses that tired old cliche, just say “Of course it’s permanent. Why the hell would I want a temporary solution? You think I want the problem to come back?”
My first paragraph was in response to your comment about eugenics and war.
No worries myst I understood that when I read it, thanks. Very interesting point you made at the end, I agree!
These phrase have been bothering me a lot. Because I have been seeing it more along with please get help. As if I never tried. It’s been on my mind and I couldn’t find a better words than yours to retort it back. Thanks mv.
“Of course it’s permanent. Why the hell would I want a temporary solution? You think I want the problem to come back?”… I’ll need to remember that next time somebody whips this out.
Just what I was thinking
Forest – Thank you! Yes!!
Amen to that!
Yeah, people know nothing about it, it’s not their fault, they’ve just never been through it. You either get a 10, an ace or a joker.
Preach!!!
Amen!!
Isn’t life itself a sexually transmitted condition which ends with death? Being born is a “terminal illness”.
Hahaha! Love it Morris refer to my response to your comment in the post concerning afterlife 😛
This reminds me of an argument I had with my brother in law last year. I said we start dying as soon as we are born and he disagreed with me. lol I don’t know why because it’s true… he apparently thinks you have to be an adult to die lol…. doesn’t explain all the babies that die though does it? Not sure why he doesn’t understand the simple fact that once we are born, our body starts it’s journey to death, the clock starts. or if you REALLY want to get technical, we begin the journey to death when we are conceived… I said ” how do you explain the babies that die, not every human makes it to be an adult or elderly?”…. he didn’t have an answer. Lol
That’s actually really interesting Jaded that’s exactly how I see it and noone has ever agreed with me- until now!
And here I was thinking it was just the jaded part of me. 🙂
Morris – LMAO !
Another interesting saying I heard was “The prognosis for mortality (being a mortal being) is always death.”
Man, I thought I was the only one who hated that quote! Finally another person can relate 😀
That phrase can only come from a proper divvy, like, know what I mean ? Fella, you’d better swerve the next beaut that tells you that, tell him to sod off … gobshite needs to be in the ozzy, like.
^^ In American, that would translate to:
That phrase can only come from a total idiot, know what I mean ? Dude, you’d better avoid the next idiot that tells you that, tell him to fuck off … loudmouth needs to be in the hospital.
In pieces.
