Trying to not let it affect me. The weather is getting nice, this seems to make ppl happy, want to get out and do things. Not me. Not really. I’m still the pathetic, waste of space human I’ve always been. Trouble is I know how people behave with this nicer weather, I cannot allow myself to compare myself to them or their lives. Yours is yours. Me, everything about me, what I bring to the table, is Shit. It’s cool, I’ve accepted this. Just trying not to dwell or think about what could have been

what does the weather make you want to do?
Short answer, nothing, not really. I’m a little envious of that elevated spirit, but I’m also in a , been there, done that, hasn’t worked out, why try again, kind of place
I can relate. I look forward to the rain, to sit out on my porch and watch the stillness, broken rarely by people trudging through the storm. Then some days I find places to get out that I don’t have to encounter people, which is nice while it lasts.
So I’m not alone. . . Sunny outside, for a change, and I’m inside, every curtain drawn, still in my bed clothes, afraid to go out “there” because it’s so alive, and I’d only be wanting to be back here, safe, in the darkness.
Nah chip, I guess your not. Would you prefer the weather to be more poor?
*you’re not
It varies, but today is a “hide from the light ” day.
I totally understand the feeling. I hate it when the weather gets nice and people are all happy and going places. It’s all you can hear around you. Meanwhile you just hide in your room or something, lie in bed and hope that the next day doesn’t come. It gets worse the better the weather gets because the difference becomes so obvious.
” It gets worse the better the weather gets because the difference becomes so obvious”

Yes, rainy/bad weather is conducive to staying in. The sun comes out and I feel obligated to go join in the festivities. Bleccchhh.
The best weather is rain. Nobody is outside to bother me. I can open my window and not hear kids outside.
Someone else who doesn’t want to hear kids outside. I agree. May I ask why?
Its been warming up here in SoCal. It cheers me up when people walk their dogs and Their kids. Makes me smile when they walk on and say hi.
