You know what’s normal in society today? Being addicted to one of a number of available drugs, hating one’s job or lack-thereof, feeling dissatisfied with everything and not understanding why things are how they are. That’s normal. Drug overdose deaths are skyrocketing, the number of people on antidepressants are some astronomical figure, and yet everybody acts like nothing’s wrong with this picture.
Normal is broken. Being broken and knowing it is well ahead of the curve.

Those options are very fatalistic. What happened to agency?

I don’t feel suicidal anymore, so maybe I have been fixed. I still have other problems.
1.5 If certain bad things start to look likely then #1 for sure – but – my amazing therapist makes #2 a real possibility.
