after reading some comments on suicide being wrong i feel it necessary to comment myself. I choose suicide because i want to discontinue the emotional and mental pain and anguish i experience everyday. I experience it on a level the majority of people never will. I dont expect others to understand, but i do believe i have the right to do with my body as i wish.

You are absolutely correct – your body, your decision.
yes. i hate the term “to commit suicide”. there is no crime in what i do to my own body
Crime. That this (suicide) should be labelled “crime” is the crime.
We will kill our unborn, we will kill those of a different skin color or religion, we will kill over land and water rights, but we cannot kill ourselves, because life is sacred and it must be spared, at all costs. “You must be and think as I do, or you shall be different and looked down upon!”
The crime is the double standard we hypocritical humans carry around with us to use as a conversation piece. “Do as we say, for we have all the answers!” We should have a Worldwide Mass Suicide Day. Really stir things up, leave ’em scratching their heads.
Or we could just boycott buying stuff and going to work. A mass suicide day would only lead to a public-private partnership aimed at mass-medicating people at-risk for suicide.
The only thing i buy is liquor and food.
How would we calculate or determine that day
No idea.

Great idea. Pick a date someone.
should have a world ‘take off your rose tinted glasses day’
The you would have mass suicide.
“My body, my choice.” I certainly agree. I am sure most people here on SP agree too. Too bad we have only few laws here in the US granting a right to die. They are for terminal patients only and only in five states I think. They offer nothing for most people on here.
It was just a few years ago that I realized that we don’t have a legally guaranteed right to die in writing in the in the US (with a few exceptions here and there). So laws and actions of all sorts to force people to live on are not illegal.
Sadly, though any of us can say “my body, my choice” this seemingly universal right enjoys little legal protection and perhaps many of us here remain alive due to a myriad of departure complications imposed upon us.
Trust me I know how you feel. But some people eventually overcome it. Like me. I still don’t know how. BUT since I did, I won’t advocate it. You could be the next person who is healed.
