Hi everybody, so I am planning on taking an overdose tonight or tomorrow morning, but i need some advice. Should I do this at home (my mother and father are at home and the overdose might cause hallucinations so might cause me to talk or something and they’ll hear it) or should I sleep over at my sister’s house and do it in the morning (8 am, she gets home at 12.30 am)? I am really doubting because I want to succeed so it’s better to be alone, but it also feels weird to do it at my sister’s place

I would suggest you don’t don’t at all but (IMO) you should probably do it where you are most comfortable with your surroundings so your last feeling is peaceful and not discomfort but stay strong dude
Don’t forget to keep in mind with this type of planning who you’ll leave to find your body. Point is that you won’t be around to care, but they will.

No that I’m dissuading you from offing yourself, but freeroma is right. My first thought was- geez, either your sister or your parents will find you and their house will be a crime scene (till it’s determined as a suicide) and how will they feel coming home every day to a house where you killed yourself? Also, idk about suicides, but I know for murders, homeowners must disclose that fact to their realtors and any potential buyers when they sell their home.
Personally, I’d find a different place to do it. You’re basically either screwing over your parents or your sister by doing it in their house.
My sister is narcissistic so she’ll pretend she cares, but actually she won’t so it doesn’t matter that much. Where do i have to do it then, on the street? Lol
It will be determined as a suicide quickly, cause i will leave a note..
a note doesn’t prove it’s a suicide. investigators will still investigate. people are murdered all the time, and it’s framed to look like a suicide. i think suicide is often hard to prove, but more than likely, if it looks like a suicide, they will rule it as so.
I don’t think they have to investigate that long or much.. I have been talking about suicide with a friend via whatsapp, and also my internet history only contains things about suicide and methods..

Get a motel room.
That’s a great idea. I assume that’s where a good chunk of people go to do it.
On the other hand, now I wonder how many hotel/motel’s or rooms I’ve been in where there’s been a murder or suicide. I guess AHS Hotel wasn’t too far off…sorta… *yeesh*
Motel isn’t a bad idea, bc that way, your parents or ur sister will not see your body. It’s better if they don’t..just imagine the world of hurt they will be in.
They will see it anyway..
I know, but imagine just walking in and seeing it? out of the blue, it’s worse.
It’s not about seeing the body once. It’s about going to a house every day knowing the house had a dead body in it. I would be creeped out af going into a house or room that I knew had a dead body or where somebody died, even if it’s a suicide. Let alone it being my home and having to go to my home every night and sleeping in a place like that. And, to top it off, your parents couldn’t even sell the house for several years, if, in the event they did want to move and not be in a house where there was a dead body, depending on the state you live in and the rules on selling a home where someone died.
It’s major creeps.
I would highly suggest a motel. Or off yourself in the home of your enemy.
But I just wanna add something: That I hope you do not go through it , I understand it’s your life and you do as you please, but give it more thought. Never know what good might happen and you wont be around to know it.
Couldn’t agree more! It’s traumatizing. It’s gonna be a million times harder to cope because the house will be a constant reminder.
