Won’t someone fight me? C’mon tell me what a psycho I am and how no one wants to hang out with me because I’m a *****. Just something. Everyone’s so two-faced. Tired of people hurting me. What is so bad about me?

I don’t know the answer to your question but that is one helluva question. My shrink and I have been working on an answer to it for me for several years now. I understand more than ever , thanks to her, about why certain people have hurt me but I still fear getting hurt.

My therapist doesn’t say much. She encouraged me to go to some meetups to meet other people. It’s like she doesn’t understand. People hurt to make themselves feel better or they don’t care. People also like to go after loners or people they consider weak.

I have been to group therapies and even with a facilitator and volunteers all there to help out it was hard going for me. It is not that people there were being mean, facilitators and volunteers kept all tamed way down, but that I am so awkward socially.
But just a meet up ? Hello no. People hurting others just to get a little brief break from their own pain or just not able to even care is just about worthless. And I swear if random people start acting like they care it has sometimes just been ultimately because they wanted something that turned out pretty one sided. I now have a therapist who can really help and I just go to her. No group, No meetup.
A good therapist that fits you just right is gold and quite a find. Worth it I would say.
