I’ll only tell you one because it’s the only one I have trouble explaining away.
I had a bookshelf in my bedroom once. It was full of all different kinds of books, including religious ones. One night, the religious books were all thrown violently off the shelf, while the secular ones remained untouched. It scared the everliving shit out of me and I don’t live in that room anymore.
Too many to count.
As a very young child I lived in a renovated funeral home. There were more spirits than people residing there. Original basement complete with corpse cubbies (olden days the funeral homes also housed the mortician and their embalming/prep equipment in the basement) and large cellar complete with shelving fit for a human.
Some entities moved with us when we did. Unfortunately not the nice ones like the man who hung himself in our livingroom and could be seen swinging from the rafter from time to time, or the elderly woman who paced the basement.. It was the sinister ones who attached and continued the mayhem.
That’s really interesting! A little unsettling but interesting.
I’ve had several experiences, which I feel lucky for-even then negative ones for some reason.
My brother in law killed himself at my uncle’s house and I moved in there several years later. After I moved in he became active on a nightly basis always between 2:30 and 4. He would pace up and down my hallway and tap on my door. He made the fire alarms go off several times if i was naked and they’d stop immediately after I’d say “stop” or “that’s not cool.” I had a guy stay the night one time and warned him, he woke me up terrified around 3 when he heard the knocking and pacing. He even imitated me aunts voice while my uncle was in the bathroom and she was at work. The dog went crazy. Once when I wasn’t home my aunt heard the back door open and my heals go across the hardwood floor to my room, dog freaked out again. That was probably the creepiest thing he did.
Ever since I moved out they haven’t heard from him.
I once woke up, at a different house, and saw a glowing white native American elderly woman staring at me from a foot away. I know I wasn’t sleeping because I jumped back, her eyes followed me, then she faded away. I was wide awake after that, but I was comforted by her visit once I had time to process what had happened.
I’m so jealous and in disbelief over it, I really want to know if something is out there, and if there’s any ghosts that are friendly…
I want their new afterlife experience to feel welcoming. 🙂
Dying seems sad, so I want them to like their new life too.
Heck, they could even be missing out on new and exciting things they never experienced because they died. 😕
It would be cute and funny if they were all like “Man, I wonder if that new episode of a show I like came out yet. I’m dead now so I wouldn’t know.” XD Then it would be like “Oh man, you’re missing out, let me show you!”
Heck, even if it freaking killed me maybe I could enjoy it knowing maybe I’ll be a ghost too and won’t have to be caught up in this life so good and bad experiences with ghosts alike would still be amazing. :p
Hopefully if it doesn’t bother the ghost I coukd find a way to prove it to the world too and they wouldn’t think I’m faking it with special effects or some crap… at least I would know it’s real anyway. :p
I had a lame-@ss dream once that a ghost in high heels was walking towards my bed and then laid down next to me where I put my arms around it??….. I was in a field once walking after dark… I walked a ways and then came back to a newly constructed neighborhood. I sit on the sidewalk of this empty place and smoke a cigarette, I then go to reach for my bottle of Svendka Vodka and right when I touch it something like demon witch (like from the video game left for dead) starts screaming… It sounds completely paranormal like its trying to murder me so I get up and start running for home. It’s not till I’m out of the neighborhood that I realize I’m farther from home than I thought. I’m not a strong runner but I know this thing can murder me if I don’t make my way back to to where the people were… a really old haunted town I live in that’s just being newly renovated to take new homeowners. Newly built homes but also a lot of really old creepy farmhouses. I’m sprinting my arse off and I go to reach for my phone to call for help and it dies right when I grab it. I start SCREAMING for help but the 2 or so cars that drive by ignore me or can’t hear me. I run about 1/2 mile and I hear the same witch shriek. I think I haven’t lost her yet…. and I start praying please leave me alone please don’t hurt me please don’t hurt me I am thoroughly convinced this thing is going to kill me..
I keep sprinting and finally get back to humanity about 2 miles away. I haven’t gone back that way past nightfall again… I probably have more but for the meantime there is that.
I always have incubus and succubus dreams which scare the ever living sh*t out of me so I bought some sulfur powder. I read that is how you can kill the larvae that is brought forth through immoral sex or masturbation. They used to attack me once or twice a week and then they stopped for about 3 weeks. They attacked me again last night and the day before that. Even after I used the sulfur for the first time. You have to put the sulfur powder in your shoe or you can kill all the larvae in a room by burning the powder on top of a coal. I have not burned the sulfur on coal in my room yet but have put in my shoes and sprinkled some on my bed…. will have to try burning it now that the dreams have spawned back
Yes. Several. From the time I was five until some years ago. These experiences don’t fit well within the constructs we make for ourselves as religious tenets go. They, more than anything, give me pause to consider that there may be a consciousness that exists past death, a belief which I find deeply unsettling which I uphold despite my deep desire for the contrary.
Such forces or entities can present themselves as one thing and be quite another.
Ive had a few, the most recent being a dog last year when I was out in the middle of nowhere (near Dartmoor UK, where ghost dogs are a thing). It was just seeing it, no noise and I blinked it was gone… honestly no owner… nothing. When I was a kid there was a cottage where I felt I saw three ladies in old style dresses just standing in my room. I di tend to see things but these felt a certain way…

I think I have. But then again, I’m apparently schizophrenic. So who knows.
What was your experience?

Those stories posted above are interesting, and quite scary too.
No, but I really want to even if it scares me. :p
