I overreacted now my hand may be broken…. Well parts of it.
I guess it’s a little bit more like me now, maybe after the horrible pain stops I’ll finally feel like it’s part of a body that I deserve.
I hope it’s fucked forever, I deserve this.

nope I just did this like yeserday…. I probably have a few months of pain ahead of me…. the knuckle is like gone :/ There’s also bruising and swelling
Are you still able to move your fingers around?
Yes but I shouldn’t…. I know it’s not a bad fracture and it may not even be a fracture
If it was really bad apparently my fingers would not like naturally close next to each other anymore, which they do that just fine, I can make a fist without more pain than any other movement, which movement doesn’t add that much pain anyway it’s bearable. And ice doesn’t hurt well not anymore than it hurts the other hand from just being cold…. An emt person I know told me that if it was a broken bone that ice would be unbearably painful, so apparently that’s a good sign that it’s soothing.
Oh yeah I can’t like move it back as far anymore by grabbing it with my other hand, but that’s mostly because that really hurts…. So I probably could….. But I won’t…. but it can do all the natural bending on its own that it should…. It’s just my knuckle is kind of flatter than it should be and more in…. and swelling and bruising
I’m of course doing my best not to move it, which is why it is taped to the ring finger (it’s the pinky knuckle that’s bad btw) just to prevent it from moving too much…. It’s a pain to change the tape when it gets too soggy and dirty though….
Hopefully it gets better soon. Just give it a little time.
And I can’t punch walls or myself with that hand during that time :/
I wish I hadn’t felt squeamish about using my razor just because I dropped in in the toilet

well I hit the wall once, my hand didn’t hurt after eventhough I wanted it to…. So then I punched myself and after a few punches my hand started to hurt a lot…. So maybe I did break it on the wall and just took a bit to set in? -_-

Hey, cool, I screwed up my hand, too. Typing is annoying when you have overextended tendons and/or a hairline fracture.
typing sucks a lot :/ I only have one good hand and two fingers on the other to types with. I can’t see a doctor because no insurance…. So I just buddy taped the finger…. Hopefully you heal quickly though.
Washing hands is horribly painful and it’s so hard to dry the good hand as the broken one can’t hold a towel…. -_-
