Do you ever wonder if you know any of the people on this site personally? I mean the chances are very slim, but I’m sure there are other people who live around me who are also struggling and like to express their thoughts on here. I think it’d be interesting to choose 1 person and communicate with them outside of this website and actually get to know them. Find a friend to go to on bad nights so you can be there for each other and convince each other to stay for at least one more day. Maybe I’m crazy, but it feels good to have someone who understands what you’re going through to talk to- whoever or wherever they may be. I feel like most people on here are either in their 40’s or around my age, 19, and I think it’s so sad because you would hope by the time you got fully into your adult life you would be happy, but maybe these people never had anyone to talk to and relate to and so now here they are still being sad.

No I don’t think I know anyone here personally but the thought you mentioned does seem interesting I don’t know if I personally want to meet anyone here in person due to I don’t know if I would say anything that would help them or maybe I would say something bad and or wrong depending on my state of mind my problem is that I don’t know what to do with my life 27 years old no girlfriend too shy to ask a girl out and not certain about if I will ever be good enough for a girl and still not certain about this life but I rebound back on my own.
Yeah, I get that. We’re all fragile people here and we need to choose our words carefully. If we start unloading on someone who isn’t stable enough it might just make life seem too hard for them and make suicide more of an actual option. I understand being single, though I am a bit younger than you I feel unlovable because of my self-hatred. Being shy is one thing and having anxiety is something completely different, if you’re just shy to ask girls out I would give you the advice of realizing in that moment that you only have one chance in life. That girl could be dead tomorrow and you would never have even tried asking her out. i hope that’s not morbid, but instead gives you the motivation to realize how in-the-moment life actually is.
Someone used to post on here about their life, and another user who read these posts actually figured out that it was someone they used to go to school with. And happened to live just a few minutes away from eachother. They weren’t super close before, knowing eachother only by friends of friends.. but once they realized how simular they were, they became close, good friends. It’s rare, for most of us don’t share enough information to be identifiable like that. But I suppose it happens.
There are also times where you meet someone here that you don’t know, but become close to them. Many people I know from here have found romantic relationships and life long friendships. I met and dated someone from here for 2 years. And I’ve physically met a total of 3 people from here.
That’s CRAZY to me. I wonder how they even were able to share such personal information on a site like this. But it’s kind of eye-opening when you realize anyone around you could be struggling to make it through another day and you don’t even give them a second thought. That realization has definitely inspired me to be nice towards everyone I pass throughout my day. My smiling at them might convince them that today is not the day they’re supposed to die.
By the way, i saw this is your only posts. I’d love to hear about your life! You should post about it. Or if you want to talk, it kinda sounds like your lonely from how you wrote this, my email is devinbelver@yahoo.

Yeah, I just found the website recently and got the guts to finally post something. My life is super boring, but if other’s find it interesting I would definitely think about writing about it. I love writing everything from poems to memoirs so we’ll see I guess. Thank you for reaching out, I really appreciate you caring. And thank you for the cookie I needed that. 🙂
Life is a stupid bag of potatoes that are still green and covered in dirt. If I ever do run into anyone I know in person, on this site, I’ll never know. I’d rather it stay that way. If I have to lug these stupid potatoes around with me all the time, I don’t want anyone trying to take a bite out of one. Green potatoes are poisonous.
That makes sense, I guess different people just prefer different things. I like being close to the people I reach out to while you like staying anonymous, which I respect. It’s interesting learning about how our minds work so differently.
Honestly, I wouldn’t know what it would be like meeting someone on here I know or someone I know in real life would I be embarrassed or insecure about all the posts I’ve made on here and having them know about what I have posted although I doubt that would ever happen. I don’t think I want people in real life knowing how suicidal I am only in thoughts that I can be wondering if they would even care they probably would but I always rebound on my own. Plus it is none of their damn business about me being suicidal and I don’t want them asking questions about it.
It would be quite terrifying wouldn’t it. But if they found you on here that must mean they were on here too, right? Which means they probably wouldn’t tell anyone, which would be my biggest fear, in secrecy of their own feelings. I would also feel embarrassed at first, but what could they do? They would feel embarrassed too. It’s better to be there for someone than push them away.
Chances are if I ever knew anyone from this site, they’d probably not bother with me at all.

Even people I’ve known IRL who are as equally messed up as me, eventually end up ignoring me.
I know how it feels to have people leave, and you always think it’s your fault right? But what do you do when you feel down and hopeless? Do you ignore your phone or conversations and just prefer thinking alone? I’m not blaming you for anything, I push people away too. I think everyone does and that’s the reason people stop talking, because their lives are difficult too and when they get too difficult to handle, they start pushing people away in an attempt to either not hurt themselves, the other person, or maybe even to be alone for a little while.
It’s easy to think that way, and I find myself falling capture to those thoughts a lot too. But we effect more people a day than we can physically see. I think the butterfly effect is real, one small thing you do could create something beautiful a million miles away.
I don’t ignore anything.. Nobody ever calls me. Texts are super rare.. Invites to get together are even rarer.
I am about as unpopular as one can possibly be. Always have been.

Honestly in my experience open yourself with anyone only dissapoints you in the end. Even between ourselves that know the feeling, the suicide feeling, we are not the same and don’t have the same standards, personally I trust too much in people and give them everything I have (sometimes literally), and in the end I’m just another random shit crazy guy to them.
It’s really sad that we can’t talk with loved ones about our dark side. I did and my daughter had the whole clan on me like stink on shit. Ended my relationship with my daughter. I now only talk with people who have the same dark side tboughts. Let go of all my doc contacts and headed in my own direction …..isolaton.
A life in near-constant isolation isn’t worth living.
That’s yet another reason I long for death.
