Walking corpse

My routine is basically sleep, wake up, stare at walls and in front of the computer screen all day, play video games then fetching my girlfriend when her class is finished. And that’s the only time I ever go out of the house is when fetching my gf. I’m basically a living corpse. I don’t know how much of this I can tolerate. It’s like I’m a part-time hikikomori or something.

maybe you should go get psych dr. to help you. maybe they can help you build some kind of structure in your life instead of you doing virtually nothing all day

This is what I’m thinking about. Then again it’s not a psychiatrist’s job to structure your life. All they do is give you pills and call it a day.

Why not go to the gym every day? There are some with cheap monthly memberships. You could also take some kind of hobby or language class, or find Meet-Up groups that interest you, or start going to open mic nights at cafes in your area. They still run them in wintertime.
Or apply for part-time jobs if you are unable to work full-time.

If you’re not happy with your routine, you have the power to change it.

I’m suffering from loneliness and sadness every single day manifesting as social anxiety around other people. I don’t know why but though I prefer to be left alone, something else in me wants to be in human contact with other people. Like, WTF brain?

As for meet up groups, I don’t know where to start. I live outside the west and people are pretty social here. You just can’t barge in and become a part of a clique unless you know someone who can vouch for you so you can become friends with that group. If you read my previous posts (click on my name in the post above) I’ve already lost my friends. I don’t know anybody nor can I start over easily. It’s basically hard for me to start over all over again.
