I have no idea, but when I overcame my christian/catholic conditioning of fear of eternal flames, and laughed off the idea of a heaven with streets paved with gold, the anxiety of what comes next lessened dramatically. If I reincarnate endlessly and have no memory of previous lives, big deal. If there’s nothing, no awareness of anything, super fabulous baby. Noone knows.
I hope theres nothing. An afterlife or reincarnation might be worse than this. I’ve been unconcious before. I hope thatswhat ‘nothing’ feels like because its so blissful!
In 2012, I made a suicide attempt that came very close to completion. I was unconscious for five or six days, and when I woke up, it had felt like only 20 minutes had passed. I imagine death is a lot like that. Black, quiet, unawareness.
Tibetan book of the dead is all about what comes next.
A 49 day dream that you won’t understand much of unless you are a serious Buddhist practitioner, where you inevitably choose to take rebirth somewhere in Samsara.

Yes. Silence and unawareness would be most excellent.
I am a bit afraid that there might be no such thing as unawareness
