I know this site is about sharing suicide stories, but I have a curious question regarding life’s worth if I am going to be executed. What do you think of that scenario?

What do you mean by getting executed? Like being in prison waiting for death sentence? I think life´s worth would depend on other things like everything you´ve done prior to execution? or what you make of it? Idk if it is even sensible to talk about something as life´s worth. Who decides whos more worthy?
I mean like everyone is gonna die anyway. But with execution the major difference is that you know when exactly (or roughly) are you going to die and that would kinda distract me from thinking about anything else probably.
“Should I die or try to escape” If you want to live you would try to escape if you could anyway even if you shouldnt so it prolly doesnt matter.
Idk what you mean by all that, can you maybe specify your questions?
I’d have to know that there was something worth being alive for. I suppose it depends on the execution method also – lots of forms of execution I would rather avoid. Firing squad? Sign me up.
A deserved execution I would not avoid. However, should my captors be unjustly invoking my early end… Fight for freedom!
If i know for a fact, given all the situational circumstances, that i’ve willingly & intentionally committed a crime that justifies execution, i would await that day like it was meant to be the last of my life… like i’ve known it in advance…
In other words, i wouldn’t run away from it or even try to avoid it,
i’ll make peace with it & welcome it when it comes
& meanwhile focus on trying my best to correct the effects of my wrongdoing(s) [as much as is practically possible from captivity]
if, however, i know for a fact i’ve been wrongfully convicted, or that i did commit the crime but certain situational circumstances should have been taken into account or at least discussed & weighed in my trial & they weren’t…
yup, i’m gonna go ‘Shawshank Redemption’ mode… 😀
& it wouldn’t be for my own personal love for life or survival
i would see it as an obligation… a duty towards my ‘Life’s Worth’
meaning
i would, seriously, & with no regrets, rather die sooner while attempting to escape [& that wouldn’t be until i’ve exhausted every other legal option available for the maximum stretch of time possible]
than die later as a result of an execution that i see as unjust towards my ‘Spirit’ & my ‘Soul’
