trivial, but…

Does anyone else get excessively worried when going overseas? i.e. dealing with customs, the airport, etc…?

Yes. Any contact with those sorts of those idiots makes me nervous. They can get away with murder.

I’ve only ever traveled domestically. But airports are built out of pure, hardened anxiety. I don’t think it’s possible to even walk through an airport without catching a dose of nervous energy. I can only imagine that international travel would be much worse. lol

Good question . It is so bad for my anxiety at airports I finally quit using airlines altogether. Like rivets said, airports are “pure, hardened anxiety”. Nor am I willing to let someone in customs practice extortion on me with their never ending creative duty practices in some countries. I am not willing to risk an unexpected unpleasant encounter with law enforcement in another country either.

That doesn’t bother me packing brothers me, I use to take everything including VCR, coffee pot, these days it’s different, and I’d bring back twice as much.
