Been in and still in those shoes in a way I guess. It’s definitely difficult but succeed or stumble at least you’re trying. Is he still there with you?
we were talking over facebook
Well maybe he doesn’t think so right now, but some random internet guy thinks with some time you can. I know, I’m terrible at pep talks and stuff but I do believe that the more you work at it the stronger you’ll get at it.
Thank you 🙂
However I’m not sure I can myself. My disorder is basically a personality and mood disorder so I’m sure I’ll pick it back up at some point
You’ll still have worked on developing and strengthening the connections in your brain that are used to resist those urges. Even if you relapse or stumble you’ll be stronger than before. Anyway that’s what people do. We fail a bunch before we progress. Just part of the process. Old as fuck saying but if you aren’t failing you aren’t trying or learning or doing anything at all.
Thanks dude. I’ll have to keep that in mind 🙂
