Money is more valuable than Life?

by JudgeMeNot

I’m not motavated. Glued to a $18,000 a year Job paying $323.00 for my car + gas, ect’ on a $800 2 week check. I’m full time.

Saved enough for my single self. Though I just wanna buy a gun and play with it. Hoping to build courage to pull the trigger. Money is so poisonous to Mankind. It Stalls and cripples the efficiency of the majority of people. It’s a luxury for the privileged. The lucky and Rich..

It’s hard finding the edge on the higher class..

To build a foundation out of nothing..

Helping myself could be lethal to others. Deadly. Dangerous. I could die. And that’s all i think about..

DEATH

Mankind is what’s poisonous. Money is just a bunch of paper with pictures of men on it. We aren’t obligated to make it the center of our lives but we all do.

That’s my point.

I know. I was just wording it the other way around. You said “money is poisonous to mankind” but I said mankind is the poison.

Money isn’t the problem, in fact it’s an excellent tool to equate the value of goods and services and allow them to be exchanged. Try bartering a bushel of wheat for a leather jacket.

There are certain realities that are essential for survival for us humans, like a common language, freedom and commerce.

The problem is that the money is being distributed inequitably. Do the Avengers creators deserve to make $1 billion per movie making everyone involved super-rich? All the while there are millions of people are stuck in low-wage incomes?

I do believe there are better ways of distributing income. In Switzerland for instance I’ve heard the average income is around $70k and that is also the same number a study found would be the min. amount that we’d need to feel ‘happy.’

Having come from a lower middle-class family, I know all about the struggles of money and I’ve tried to do better for myself, but due to a lot of issues in my life it didn’t go as hoped. But I believe that it’s something I will be able to change hopefully soon.

As for your income, I understand where you’re coming from, but if you want more money then you’ll have to work hard to change your situation. I’m like you, by nature I’m resistant to change and prefer to stay where I am unless I have no choice.

Part of the reason I had considered suicide in the past is due to being in a lower-income bracket. Not only does it make it difficult to get the things I want out of life, but it’s also about one’s status.

I’ve had friends take pot-shots because they’re all making more money than I am, even though they know about all the struggles I’ve gone through. Though ofc their opinions make little difference to me. What upsets me most is that despite my effort I haven’t achieved the goals I’ve set myself up for.

However I differ from others in my situation in that I have the skills to definitely go further so I’m well below my true potential which is why I’m still around because I’m pretty sure I will change my lot in life, it’s just a matter of time and I have a good education to back me.

I will agree with Sadg’s opinion that ‘mankind is poison’ to a certain extent. Ofc not all people there are both good and bad, but I think people in general are pretty loathsome. My scummy family members and so-called friends have taught me the most about human nature and most people cannot be relied on.

At the same time we’re social beings and we’d go insane without people in our lives, so the key is to try to weed out the bad people and try to hold on to the good ones if you find any. Or at least keep them in line.

If suicide was an easy thing to do I would’ve probably done it already. There are a few things I’d like to do in life before I ‘leave’ but there is very little holding me here. In the past I was a bit more attached to life but now I really dgaf anymore aside from checking off a few things on my bucket-list before I end it.

Of course it is. If you are rich, suddenly everyone wants to be your friend and associate with you. says it all.
If you are poor, you aren’t even dirt on a shoe
