I’m scared (not suicide related)

by blue_dude15

Lately I occasionally feel shaky and several times throughout the day some of my muscles twitch. I’ve researched the symptoms and so many scary diseases pop up, like ALS, for example.

Its making me scared. My doctors appointment is scheduled in a few weeks and I’m so scared to wait that long. I’m probably overreacting, but I feel so scared.

And whenever I try to talk to my mum about it, she gets angry at me for worrying so much. That doesn’t help
Strangely I feel so scared, thinking I might have a dangerous disease. I want to be healthy, I don’t want to die. There are so many things I haven’t experienced yet. I’m being so dramatic, especially since I haven’t been diagnosed with anything yet and its probably nothing serious, sorry

I promise you it’s not something serious (at least in regards to physical health). You’re not being dramatic either. We’re supposed to listen to our bodies, and when they do something confusing, we get scared. It’s normal. What you’re describing sounds like a couple things: a) a blood sugar drop (you need to eat something), b) anxiety disorder, c) a trauma response. Try to drink a cup of hot tea and watch something that makes you laugh. It might help if it’s something anxiety based.

Thanks, that does make me feel less worried. It might possibly be an anxiety thing, so I’ll try the advice you gave me
