Thank you all for your unexpected support! In my last post, I was expecting to get completely grilled. I did get grilled once, but the rest of you were rather empathetic towards me.
I have contacted a group known as Virped. One of you suggested Virped to me, and I have decided to contact them. Awaiting a reply.
Im not sure what else I can say about my own struggles, but I am grateful to have at least been listened to and heard. Thank you all

Glad to know my documentary watching days was of some use lol. I don’t remember the title of it and can’t find it now but that’s where I saw it. It was free on YT. Great documentary.
Ive been let in, and It has been of great help so far. Your documentary watching days has indeed paid off greatly. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
you’re welcome. i hope you’ve found your community of ppl. loneliness is one of the most horrible aspects of depression.
i wish i knew where i belonged. hell, i don’t even fit in among other depressed ppl. i get so much flack from ppl in other depression groups online bc i “refuse to think positive” and other crap that obviously doesn’t work for me. -_-
i wonder how many ppl, or what % of the population, are virped’s. there’s obviously no study or poll on this but would be interesting to know how many there actually are, not just in the US but worldwide. As in how common or rare this is. I have a definite feeling this is way more common than what society or experts think there are (the non criminal ones) but obviously they can’t easily come out of the closet to be counted.
also curious to know how many virpeds are successful in staving off their affliction their whole lives and not give in even once, vs how many have succumbed.
