What my brain apparently told me today:

1. Get a small coffee but refill it way more times than you should. Repeat until hands tremble, and blinking no longer makes logical sense.

2. Hold the nearest pencil without dropping it, and draw a picture of Alan Ominous’s avatar on the back of your receipt.
(His avatar is “Crazy Eyes” from the Adam Sandler movie “Mr. Deeds”. Google it to see a plethora of eyes going in separate directions.)

Mapping session and 1st TMS treatment

Hi everyone,

So yesterday I had the mapping session. Essentially they take the coil and move it around until they find the location on the brain and strength of the pulse that makes your thumb involuntarily twitch. It was very weird, them pressing a button and my face or hand twitching on cue. The whole thing lasted about 20 minutes. I did not feel any pain and had no headache or any other side effects. I’m 97.3% sure my mum looked through my therapy diary. I’ve had to start writing about the voices until I next see my therapist, so I’ve been keeping it away from everyone. I specifically told her not to look in it and that’s it’s between me and my therapist.

However, she’s been acting weird around me today and out of the blue asks about the voices and if I’ve hurt myself again (I mentioned I did in the diary thing). Effexor really does kill your sex drive which is fine by me ’cause it’s not like i’m getting laid anyways. It kinda masks the loneliness feeling away, I don’t even care about being with someone. But seriously trying to jack off takes like 40 minutes and sometimes I don’t even cum o.o. This is on 75 mg a day I wonder what it’s gonna be like when I’m on 225 lmao.

Where to begin.. I suppose I should begin with my introduction to antidepressants. I’ve gone through several different brands and have yet to be impressed. I’ve always felt the need to avoid medication at all costs, as taking meds would be an admission of emotional instability; Once I get on them, I’m officially crazy. But, I began to sink lower than I ever had before in my previous bouts, and I became fearful enough of my own thoughts that I decided medication was my only option. Scary thing, antidepressants..
