I wrote this poem today, it sucks, but I haven’t written anything in weeks, so…

“I remember
When you looked at me
With those eyes
When I couldn’t help but
Idolize
When my heart began
To race.

And I remember
When I saw you
When your eyes
Had lost all light
When you stopped
Fighting the fight
When you lost yourself
And me

And now you’re gone
and I’m waiting
Waiting for you to come
back
Waiting to see those
eyes
Waiting to know if you’re
alive

Please come back
Please wake up
You’re still there
Lost, to be found

I don’t want to die

But I don’t think there’s a good way for me to go on living. I feel horrible all of the time. I’ve seen enough doctors, therapists, and social workers to populate a small country. I don’t see any future for me. I don’t even have any dreams to hang on to. I don’t have any friends either. I’ve spent two weeks in the hospital. It made things worse.

It is sad when happy people die; if only we could trade places so that they could go on living.

I’m young. I hate it when older people complain that my generation feels entitled to more than we deserve. […]

End-game

To be a candle, with a wick almost burned down, the wax melted so far down there is no relighting it- that’s how I see every person’s existence- as a candle with varying amounts of “wax” left, keeping them burning. Elton John was brilliant for using this when Diana perished, what seems like eons ago.

Weeks left….

So, the synergistic forces are closing in on me.  I am not in a panic to end my life; in fact, I am worried that I will be somewhat excited when I do.

I have body dysmorphic disorder; people say my body is fine but I do not believe them.  And then there is my career, which did not pan-out as I would have wanted.  And then there are the bills I cannot pay.

So, yes, I am clinically depressed.  I have a few methods I will try when I finally do try.
