I am a waitress and I see the saddest people come through this hotel restaurant. It is some kind of nightmare day after day seeing these unfortunate souls drift through. I wonder what made them hold on so long? I have a horrible habit of feeling sorry for people, but I think that is because I consider myself good at reading people. I don’t see the point of trying anymore. I’ve been suffering from some form of depression and anxiety since high school and that was seven years ago. And nothing seems to have helped/gotten better. The past year and a half especially has been a struggle. I’ve been in and out of the hospital for suicidal ideation, self harm, and failed attempts. When am I going to get a reprieve from these dark thoughts? I’m tired of wanting to kill myself.

Not Really Sure What To Do…

Not really sure what to do anymore. Just let go of my antidepressants about 3 weeks ago after a 13 month period. Didn’t make me feel much better and the side effects were bad so I quit. Suffering now from discontinuation syndrome which is terrible. Brain zaps, sweats, aches you name it. I can feel myself slipping back into the same dark pit I was in before I started taking them. I’m just physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted almost 24/7. I barely have any motivation to do anything, not even to move around. I guess I’ll call the genre a Nihilistic Psychological/Survival Horror game. My goal was to create the darkest, scariest, most depressing and psychologically disturbing game ever conceived. I have been diagnosed with depression recently. It took one trigger to bring back the feelings of isolation, loneliness and rejection from the past. To make it worse, my lack of self-worth underpins all of this and I feel like it will never get better.
