Please, someone understand me. I am 22 years old. I lost my father one year ago. I am so soo attached to him and I miss him a lot. I have been through depression and just when I thought I am feeling OK, I knew everything is wrong with me.

Lucky and unhappy.

Reading some of the posts here just break my heart.  There are so many people that have been, or – in some cases, currently subject to the most hideous abuses by those that are supposed to care for them.  Those with drug addicted or alcoholic parents, those that are being physically and sexually abused by members of their own family, or even worse.   It makes the trials and tribulations of my formative years, whilst far from idyllic, seem like paradise in comparison.

Life is a Sick Cruel JOKE

The unfairness of life has become unbearable, and so I need to end it. 

My beautiful mother became ill, bed ridden for 7 years. The routine for taking care of her, was to clean her, feed her, even wiped her soil, everyday for 7 years. I was a 12 year old girl when it started.  Then when I turned 15, I worked as a janitor just to put food on the table and buy  medicines, hopeful that she would get better.  But she didn’t, and died a withered shell of a person.  Then, my father became ill too.  The same thing happened for another 7 years.  […]

Media and Society’s Impact on Me

My favorite movies when I was growing up was Lethal Weapon and An Officer and a Gentleman which was. I was approximately six years old when I saw both of these films.

In the movie Lethal Weapon a dominant theme is that of the insanity of one of the main characters, Detective Martin Riggs, and his suicidal behavior brought about by the trauma of the death of his wife.
