i’ve been suicidal since i was 14, maybe 13, but my memory before my first attempt is blurry. i’m almost eighteen now.

i didn’t intend on making it this far, at all. i didn’t intend on living this long – ever getting a job – making it to my senior year of HS.

but, if you’re like me. it’s probably important to remember something my friend said to me.

“you shouldn’t deem yourself a failure whenever you fall down again, you’re still going, you’re still strong. Your illnesses aren’t you. You’re you; and that’s what matters.”

just a little more, okay?

Lonely and alone

I am new here. I attempted suicide about 3 weeks ago, twice in less than 24 hours. The first time I was found by my siblings who got into my house and the second time, I was found by the police. I ended up in the hospital unconscious for two days and spent a further day in a ward with old people, who were bed ridden. Everyday I am sinking. Like a stone. I am nothing and no one but empty bones. I am hollow through and through and I just don’t know what to do. I am a coward. Food tastes funny and sleep lacks escape. My vivid nightmares, mocking reminders of my pointless reality. This is shit. But what’s a coward to do? I wish I could brave up and take that last ending step. I wish I could float away effortlessly.

I see drawings, pictures, trinkets, clothes and I just want to get rid of them like that will make memories from before just disappear and stop haunting me. I wish it were true. I wish I had amnesia and would never remember who is was and still am.

Theres nothing worse than when you want nothing more than to push the tip into your skin and slowly and painfully drag it across your wrist until the thin scarlet line begins to appear and you cant. Now im left with multiple reminders of my attempts that further remind me how i cant even complete a little task like cutting myself.Â Cool. Im going to bed.
